The American Civil War Wars, Wars and rumors of wars!!!! Everyone knows the United States has had its fair share of wars. Let me start by giving you a brief list of wars the United States has participated in according to Wikipedia. Both â€Å"Barbary Wars (1801-1805, 1815-1816), Wars of 1812, Mexican-American War (1846-48), American Civil War (1861-65), Indian War (1865-91), Spanish-American War( 1898), Philippine-American War (1899-1902) Border War(Mexican Revolutionary)1910-1919, World War I (1917-18), World War II( 1941-45), Cold War (1947-1991), Korean War( 1950-53), Vietnam War (1964-1975), Persian Gulf War (1990-91), and of course the War on Terrorism (2001-present).† And that’s just the major wars. Out of all of these wars the one that I will discuss is the American Civil War. First, I will enlighten you on why I chose the American Civil War. Next, I will expound upon the reason that commenced the American Civil War. Last, I will inform you on what the after-effects were from the Amer ican Civil War.
